Another DOOM Movie Coming

A new DOOM movie is on the way. It’s a reboot and it will be in 3D. Ugh. Like so many of you, I really…really wanted to like the first DOOM movie. Unfortunately it kinda sucked and I have little to no hope for this one.

No surprise to hear that, what with the industry hellbent on utilizing all and any picture patented brands (G.I Joe, Monopoly, Rubik’s Cube, Tomb Raider),a reboot – one that entirely skips over the events of the insipid 2005 film – is in the early stages of development. Universal own the rights to the film and though they’ve always been keen on doing another Doom movie sometime, the success of Paramount’s G.I Joe : Rise of Cobra piqued their interest even more.
