A painting is no longer something always keeping still: Scott Garner’s “Still Life” is rightly a painting that can respond to real-world activity. Whenever you rotate the painting, you’ll see that the fruits and vases begin to tumble and finally change their positions. Why? Because the painting is actually made using the game developing program unity 3D, and inside the painting there is a flat-screen television screen with a spatial sensor built behind it to detect the tilt. So whenever somebody rotate its frame, the unity 3D scene can then respond and interact with the users.
It has taken Jonathan Brechignac fifteen months and lot of patient to create the «Praying Carpet.» He drew it only with Bic pencils, and his goal is to place the carpet between two pieces of plexiglass on the floor.

The Oatmeal’s “Grammar Pack” includes four great comics: “how to use an apostrophe,” “how to use a semicolon,” “10 words you need to stop misspelling,” and “when to use i.e. in a sentence.” We can’t think of a better set of rules to stick on your wall, especially if you work with words.
We adore Visual Aid’s huge collection of geeky prints. They offer graphical explanations of a huge range of topics including color theory, types of hats, The Beatles vs The Rolling Stones, table settings, flight times and much, much more.
This excellent Etsy poster offers you a field guide to Mac trackpad gestures. Also available is an OS X button legend and a quick reference for shortcuts.
